WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY IN ISRAEL

Highlight's clips:
A wedding highlight clip is a dynamic wedding video lasting 2-4 minutes. It is edited in a fast-paced style, capturing the key emotions and atmosphere of the day. The focus is on stunning moments, beautiful shots, energetic editing, and music, creating a vibrant and emotional portrayal of the wedding. This format is perfect for quick viewing and sharing on social media.

Short wedding film
The cinematic wedding film, also known as a “Eurofilm”,is a film with a storytelling approach, inspired by European wedding videography. It lasts 8-15 minutes and is slightly less dynamic than a highlight clip, with greater attention to details, emotions, and atmosphere.
Unlike highlight clip or long film, a short film is structured as a short story, capturing more meaningful and interesting moments from the wedding day. This format involves more work with sound design—in addition to music, live sounds and ambient audio are used, creating a sense of presence.
It serves as a middle ground between a short wedding clip (2-4 minutes) and a long wedding film (30-60 minutes).

Long wedding film
A full-length wedding film is a 30-60 minute video edited in chronological order. It includes all the key moments of the day: getting ready, couple’s walk, ceremony, speeches, dances, and other important events.
During the ceremony, a second tripod-mounted camera is used alongside the main one, allowing for multi-angle editing.
This format captures the wedding day in the most complete way, keeping the atmosphere and emotions alive in a natural and seamless story.

Do You Need a Second Videographer?

A single videographer can cover any wedding, but it’s important to remember that they have only two hands and one camera. This means that during key moments—like the first look, ceremony, first dance, bouquet toss, or cake cutting—they can capture only one angle at a time. The more cameras and hands available, the more diverse and high-quality the final film will be.
If the budget allows, having a second videographer will always enhance the final result by adding more angles, details, and better emotional coverage.
It's especially important to note that the main videographer is usually focused on the couple, especially during the ceremony and other significant moments. Meanwhile, a second videographer can:
✔ Capture guests' and family's reactions, making the film more emotional and immersive.
✔ Use a drone for aerial shots when possible.
✔ Ensure that the tripod-mounted camera isn't blocked by guests and adjust it if needed.
✔ Monitor audio recording in real-time to minimize the risk of losing important moments.
✔ Look for artistic and unique angles while the main videographer stays focused on the key events.
A second videographer is particularly recommended if:
✔ The couple is getting ready in different locations at the same time.
✔ The wedding schedule is very busy.
✔ There will be a lot of speeches and toasts, and the audio setup is complex.
✔ It’s a religious wedding that requires videographers of different genders.
If at least two of these points apply to your wedding, I highly recommend considering a second videographer to capture the day in its fullest beauty and depth.
